You can check availability and request a reservation online by clicking the ‘Availability’ button on the left. Or just call us and we can answer any questions you might have, check to see if we have a room available, and make the reservation for you. Please have your credit card ready to guarantee the room. We will then send you a confirmation by email or regular mail, whichever you choose.
All rates are for two persons and include a full country breakfast. State (5.3%) and local (6%) taxes are additional.
A two-night minimum stay applies on weekends – but check with the innkeepers to see if a Thursday-Friday or Saturday-Sunday rental has left a single night open.
A charge of $25 per night is made for an additional person in the room. We welcome children aged 12 and older.
Cancellations must be made by telephone conversation with the innkeepers. A processing fee of $25 will be charged for all cancellations unless made within 24 hours of the time the reservation was confirmed. In addition, for cancellations received less than 14 days prior (30 days for holidays and special events) to the planned stay, a charge, equivalent of one night’s stay will be incurred, 50% of which will be credited to a subsequent 2-day minimum reservation. Shortened stays and early check-outs will be responsible for the entire reservation.
Payment in full becomes due at check-out. Refunds are not made for delayed check-in or early departure. The Hummingbird Inn accepts cash, personal checks, traveler’s checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Diners’ Club and Amex credit cards.
The Hummingbird Inn is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted anywhere outside, on the grounds, away from the building.
The Hummingbird Inn is often a destination for couples wishing to get away for a celebration or a romantic weekend. In many cases they have left children at home with a sitter for their getaway. Although we are fond of children, we feel that as a courtesy to our guests, we can only welcome young people 12 and older who feel comfortable in a grown-up environment.
We are a pet-friendly lodging establishment. We try to be flexible, so please call us regarding your pet’s suitability for staying here with you. Guests with pets are accommodated in the Teter-Wood room, a first floor room with direct outside access. We charge an additional $15 per night per pet.
