We're the closest B&B to Goshen Pass, where the Maury River cuts through the mountains creating a rocky gorge - a hiker's paradise (and great fishing and kayaking site).  Take advantage of our Green Gas Helper package (above) and we'll send you off on your hikes with snacks, maps, and advice. 3 nights for $415 plus tax per couple through September 30, 2008. 

Special Occasion Weekend Package:  Celebrate that special occasion - and that special someone - with a weekend at the Hummingbird. Package includes two nights in one of our deluxe rooms, full breakfast both mornings, dinners on Friday and Saturday nights, a bottle of champagne, a bouquet of roses, chocolate-covered strawberries, full-body massage - one hour for each of you, and a romantic carriage ride through the historic streets of Lexington. $745 plus tax per couple. Free one-night stay:  Plan your vacation at the Hummingbird and see all the delights of Rockbridge County - or venture into Bath, Highland, and Augusta Counties - while returning each night to your comfortable room and the relaxation of the Inn! Girls' Getaway Packages: 

Massage Package:  Looking for something fun and different to do with your best friend, your sister, or your mom? How about getting a whole group together and renting the entire inn? Your "Massage Day" starts with a massage therapist arriving after breakfast to teach you relaxation techniques. Then you'll get full-body massages to help melt away stress! The next day visit the nearby warm mineral springs to "take the waters" for a relaxing and rejuvenating soak. Two-night weekday packages start at $245/person, double occupancy.     

Girl's Indulgence Package:  Indulge yourself and your best girlfriend, your sister, your mom, with a special getaway just for the two of you. You'll each have your own room, with queen-size canopied bed, a cute little stove to add comfort and ambiance, and your own private bath with whirlpool tub and shower. Spend your days seeing the sights of the Shenandoah Valley, visiting the boutique shops, the crafts galleries, the antique malls, and farmer's markets. We have history, hiking, drives throught the country that include a vineyard, an herb farm, a yarn shop, and a working grist mill just down the road. You can "take the waters" at the nearby Warm Springs one day, get a massage in your room on another. In the evening, curl up to chat with a cup of tea in our living room, or have a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire in the den.
