A prepared two course breakfast is served daily at 9am. Shortly after 7am fresh grind/brewed coffee and fresh cream is on the coffee/tea bar. Around 8am, our homemade scones, muffins, biscotti, coffee cake or other baked good is placed at the coffee/tea bar for a nibble prior to breakfast. Breakfast includes fresh fruits in season from our local Amish & Mennonite farms for the first course created in a smoothie, yogurt parfait or creative grits from our local 1750 Wade’s Mill topped with fresh fruit compotes. In the cooler months we serve Oatmeal creme Brule, broiled grapefruit with a yummy reduction, a warm peach or apple crisp, Jeff’s crepes with warm fruits, or creative grits for a lovely warm breakfast soup. Our second course may include a savory entree such as a frittata served with fresh herb roasted potatoes and our local butcher’s sage sausage or include a sweet entree such as fresh corn gridle cakes, seasonal French toast featuring pumpkin, blueberries, caramel apple or fresh fruit toppings, and we also serve Belgian waffles topped with fresh fruit or cooked in tiny chocolate chips. Our sweet entree has plenty of protein, scrambled farm eggs here in Goshen and Amish bacon or ham are served. We gladly accommodate special diets with advance notice.
