Thomas Jefferson wrote, in 1818, that “in nothing have the habits of the palate more decisive influence than in our relish of wines.” Come celebrate Jefferson’s passion for wine during the Monticello Wine Festival 2013!
On Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 6pm – 9pm, you can be part of an unforgettable evening on the West Lawn of Monticello. Enjoy the splendor of spring while tasting Virginia’s best vintages at the only house in America designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Tickets are $55 and include tours of Jefferson’s Monticello, live music on the West Lawn, and tastings of Virginia’s most celebrated local vintages.
Monticello is a little over an hours’ drive from the Hummingbird Inn in Goshen. Makes a perfect day trip.
