Couple of things happening in the Lexington VA area this weekend, that might strike your fancy.
First, the 20th Anniversary Local Colors Festival is Saturday, May 15, at Elmwood Park in Roanoake. Ninety-four cultures and nations will be represented with activities for all. Check it out www.localcolors.com
Next on the list is the New Market Day Parade and Ceremony, at VMI in Lexington. Saturday, 2pm. The is the commemoration of the Civil War battle in which the VMI Cadets bravely fought.
